Rose Siggins the actress that played ‘Legless Suzi’ on FX’s American Horror Story: Freak Show, has passed away at the age of 43.
On Monday, Siggins went into a Denver hospital “for a kidney stone surgery”. According to TMZ “she contracted an infection, which spread through her body and ultimately became fatal.”
When Rose Siggins was born, her doctors diagnosed her with sacral agenesis. At the age of 2 both her legs were amputated. Against the odds, she became the first woman with the rare genetic disorder to give birth to “normal” children.
Rose Siggins also starred in Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Extraordinary People.
A GoFundMe account has been setup to collection donations for her medical bills, funeral expenses and to help support her two children, Luke and Shelby.
