Pavilion is a puzzling 4th person adventure from Visiontrick Media. The game throws you directly into a mysterious world. There are no tutorials or beginning explanations. The player learns this game and its mechanics by interacting and observing the world.
Pavilion is a surreal dream-like place where reality clashes with fantasy. Bit by bit you can learn things about the world itself and its puzzles. The graphics are beautiful. 2D images with dreamy ambient music by Tony Gerber, that makes for an unforgettable audio-visual experience.
Pavilion is confirmed for PS Vita, PS4, Windows, Mac, and Linux and will arrive across two chapters. The first will arrive before the year is out. The second will arrive in 2016. Visiontrick have also launched a Steam Greenlight campaign, where you can vote if you would like to see Pavilion on Steam.
If you’re well versed in first person or third person games, you may be curious as to what a fourth person game play entails. Instead of controlling the main character, the control is indirect via interaction with the environment. If that sounds vague I couldn’t agree more. Check out the trailer to see if you can gauge what makes this 4th person.
